"Abu Dhabi Chamber" A visit to an economic and commercial delegation is organized to Germany

Abu Dhabi, September 14 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organizing an official visit to a delegation that includes representatives of several entities and institutions to the Federal Republic of Germany from tomorrow until September 18 as part of its efforts to enhance Abu Dhabi’s position as a global business and investment center, and in implementation of its strategy aimed at expanding international economic partnerships.

The delegation includes representatives of leading bodies and institutions, including the Abu Dhabi Chamber, the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, the global technology system Hub71, and the Emirates Energy Company, as well as a number of private sector representatives and entrepreneurs.

The delegation is chaired by His Excellency Shams Ali Al -Dhahiri, the second deputy chairman of the board of directors of the managing chamber, and the visit comes at a time when the global economy is witnessing radical transformations that require the construction of strong partnerships based on innovation, knowledge and industrial integration.

Germany, the owner of the largest economy in Europe and the fourth largest global economy, is a pivotal partner for the UAE, while Abu Dhabi continues to consolidate its position as an attractive global economic center for investments, characterized by advanced infrastructure and legislation supporting sustainable growth.

The economic relations between the two countries have witnessed an accelerated growth in recent years, after the volume of non -oil trade exchange between the two countries reached 50.68 billion dirhams in 2024, an increase of 5.4% compared to 2023.

The visit is witnessing the signing of a number of economic agreements that reflect the common vision to enhance cooperation in the innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainability sectors, and to launch initiatives that support innovative projects and startups.

Shams Al -Dhaheri said that the visit reflects the depth of relations between the two countries, and embodies the commitment to building long -term economic partnerships based on innovation and sustainability, explaining that with the consensus of visions on the green economy and digital transformation, the Emirati -German cooperation is a candidate for further growth and prosperity, in a way that meets the aspirations of future generations and enhances the position of the two countries on the map of the global economy.
