The Arab League celebrates the Arab Meteorological Day
Arab countries celebrate on September 15 of each year the Arab Meteorological Day, which corresponds to the anniversary of the establishment of the permanent Arab Meteorological Committee. On the Arab Meteorological Day for 2025 under the slogan & quot; Meteorological: For Human Safety and Sustainability of Place & LDQUO;
& nbsp; & nbsp; Ambassador d. Ali bin Ibrahim Al -Maliki, Assistant Secretary -General, Head of the Economic Affairs Sector at the League of Arab States, of the importance of modern technology, innovation, training and Arab -Arab and Arab cooperation in improving the accuracy of weather forecasts and the early warning system, and its primary role in reducing and facing natural disasters such as floods and hurricanes, which contributes to supporting human safety, property and space. Development of monitoring, forecasting and data support systems, and spreading awareness of the importance of meteorology in our daily life through the meetings of the Meteorological Meteorological Committee, which is held periodically to achieve these goals.
