Saud bin Saqr opens the main office of the group "Hilton" In Ras Al Khaimah

Ras Al -Khaimah, September 16/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, stressed that the tourist renaissance witnessed by the emirate represents the fruit of the ambitious vision that it adopts in diversifying its economy and enhancing its position as a global destination for tourism, living, work and investment, indicating that His Highness is that the tourism sector is today one of the most important pillars of sustainable growth and a vital source to attract investments And create job opportunities.
This came during the opening of His Highness the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, today, the new main office of the “Hilton” group in “Rakz Business Center 1” in the Al -Nakheel area in Ras Al Khaimah, to be the headquarters to support accounting and information technology for 48 hotels of the group in 10 countries, in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamid Al Qasimi, Managing Director of the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Regions “Rakz”, Gay Hachchenson, President of “Hilton” in the Middle East region Africa, and a number of senior officials.
“The opening of the new office is a qualitative addition to the tourist infrastructure in the emirate, and enhances its position as a favorite destination for visitors from all over the world, thanks to its unique natural and human elements, in addition to the qualitative investments in the hospitality sector,” His Highness said.
His Highness praised the pioneering role played by “Hilton” in supporting the process of developing the tourism sector in Ras Al Khaimah since its beginnings, stressing the emirate’s keenness to enhance its strategic partnership with the various partners during the next stage, in a way that establishes the position of Ras Al Khaimah on the map of global tourism.
His Highness preferred to cut the opening tape, listened to an explanation about the modern office facilities and integrated services that will contribute to supporting the group’s hotels, enhancing its presence in Ras Al Khaimah, and expanding its current technical center in “Rakz”, in addition to its future expansions in the UAE and the region.
For his part, Gay Hatcheinson appreciated the opening of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, to the new main office, expressing his deep appreciation for the continuous support that the Ras Al Khaimah government attaches to the tourism and hospitality sectors, and stressing that the emirate today has become one of the fastest tourist destinations in the region thanks to its attractive investment environment and its advanced infrastructure, and that it occupies A prominent position within the group’s future expansion plans.
Hachchenson highlighted the presence of “Hilton” in Ras Al Khaimah for more than 20 years, the importance of the new office for the group, as well as the advantages of the “Rakz Business Center” and easy access to it.
The opening of the main office of the Hilton Hotel Group is in line with the tourist expansion plans adopted by the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, which aims to attract 3.5 million visitors by 2030, as part of its ambitious vision to enhance its position as a global destination for tourism, living, work and investment.
