She was inside her house … the arrest of the writer of the berries series

The Supreme Authority for Radio and Television in Türkiye has announced the opening of an official investigation against the series “Raspberries”, due to the suit of insulting family and social values.

In this context, the security authorities arrested Marwa Ghontem, one of the work writers, from inside her house in the Jehngger neighborhood in Istanbul.

According to press reports, the arrest of Guntem came because of an old interview she had four years ago on YouTube, in which she talked about difficult economic conditions that drive some girls to choose controversial ways to secure their needs. (Emirates 24)
