" Sharjah Heritage Institute" It organizes an international workshop on the preservation of historical buildings

Sharjah, September 16/ WAM/ The Sharjah Institute of Heritage is organizing an international workshop for building the capabilities of workers in the field of urban heritage, in UNESCO Hall at its headquarters, which will continue until September 21, with the participation of a group of specialists and experts, as well as lecturers from Zanzibar.
His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al -Muslim, head of the institute, said that the organization of the workshop comes in the context of the responsibility of the cultural and scientific institute and based on the vision of Sharjah in extending bridges of cooperation with the brothers in the world to exchange experiences and develop capabilities in the field of urban heritage and safeguard the historical identity.
For his part, Eng. Sultan Al Hammadi, Director of Projects, Restoration and Property Department at the Institute, affirmed the keenness that the workshop includes a mixture of theoretical rooting, practical application and field visits, allowing the participants closely to see the leading experiences in preserving historical buildings and developing their knowledge and skills in protecting urban heritage.
