"Earthquake of 25 “win the title of race "Abu Al -Abyad" Watercress for 60 feet category
Abu Dhabi, September 20/ WAM/ Al -Muzal El -Moumal “Earthquake 25” won the title of “Abu Al -Abyad” race, for the 60 -foot sailboat organized by the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler in the Al Dhafra region.
The participating bearings started for a distance of 20 nautical miles today, at 1:44 pm, to travel the distance towards the finish line with the waves in Abu Dhabi, with a time of 97 minutes.
The victory of the “25th earthquake” came by the owner, His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, led by Al -Noukhada Mohammed Abdullah Al -Marzouki, while the second place was Al -Mundhir Al -Dhafra 125, by the owner, His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, led by Al -Noukhada Marwan Abdullah Al Marzouki, and the third place was achieved by “Hashem 199” by the owner, His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al -Noukhada Hassan Abdullah Al -Marzouki.
The winners were crowned Khalifa Al -Qubaisi, a member of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, Khalifa Al -Rumaithi, head of the club’s heritage race, and Khalifa Al -Suwaidi, head of the academy.
The club expressed its appreciation to the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company “ADNOC”, the “strategic partner” for its continuous support for maritime activities and championships, and praised the efforts of the partners who are the Court of the Ruler’s representative in the Al Dhafra region, the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, the National Meteorological Center, the Abu Dhabi Media Network, the Facilities Protection Agency, and Delma Marin.
