The UAE expects my memoranda of understanding with Seychelles and Aganda in the fields of audit and control

Abu Dhabi, September 21 / WAM / The Emirates Accounting Agency signed the two memoranda of understanding today, the first with the Office of the General Auditor in the Republic of Seychelles, and the second with the Office of the General Authority in the Republic of Uganda.

According to a press release issued today, the two notes aim to enhance the exchange of institutional experiences and technical knowledge in the fields of audit and control, the development of national capabilities, and to support sustainable economic development endeavors by consolidating more efficient and effective regulations.

The signing came during two synchronous official visits to Sayyill and Uganda delegation to Abu Dhabi, where the two agreements were signed at the headquarters of the Emirates Accounting Agency.

The signing ceremony was attended by His Excellency Humaid Obaid Abu Shabas, head of the Emirates Accounting Agency, His Excellency Ghulfam Himas, General Intelligence in the Republic of Seychelles, and His Excellency Edward Akol, General Adviser in the Republic of Uganda.

The memoranda of understanding confirms the UAE Accounting Authority’s commitment to expanding its international partnerships and developing the regulatory system to keep pace with global challenges, in a manner that ensures the optimal use of public resources according to international best practices.
