"Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi" It celebrates the graduation of the new generation of Emirati medical leaders

Abu Dhabi, September 25 / WAM / Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi Hospital celebrated an academic achievement, with the graduation of 23 doctors participating in high medical education programs that include training, accommodation and fellowship programs, and the number of graduates from the UAE citizens reached 19 doctors out of a total of 23 participants, which confirms the role of the growing hospital in refining the skills of the new generation of national medical competencies locally, according to the highest international standards.

The ceremony witnessed the honor of doctors who successfully completed a specialized and intense training in a number of accurate medical specialties, which included emergency medicine, internal medicine, anesthesia, nose and throat medicine, general surgery, and heart disease, in addition to graduating the first batch of doctors participating in advanced heart disease, in a step that reflects the continuous expansion in the depth and diversification of specialized training programs in the hospital.

Higher Medical Education programs at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi have the recognition of both the International Higher Medical Education Council and the National Institute for Health Specialties in the UAE, where a high -level clinical educational environment that combines the best global practices and strategic priorities of the UAE in the long run, as these programs are an integral part of the hospital’s efforts aimed at supporting the settlement of medical competencies, in line with the goals of vision Emirates 2031.

Dr. George Pascal Hebr, CEO of the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi Hospital, said that this elite of young doctors represents the pillar of the future and the pillar of the health renaissance in the UAE, expressing the hospital’s pride in his responsibility to enable these national competencies and support their career, which qualifies them to lead the process of transformation and development in the state’s health care system.

For her part, Dr. Sawsan Abdel Razek, CEO of the Academic Office at the hospital, confirmed that the advanced academic programs in Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi have succeeded to this day in rehabilitating more than 289 doctors, most of them are Emirati competencies who today take pioneering sites and pivotal roles in developing health care services and promoting innovation at the state level.
