9038 new Indian companies join the “Dubai Chamber” in 6 months

Dubai Chambers with the delegation of the Indian Industries Union discussed the prospects for developing joint work to enhance bilateral economic relations, and ways to upgrade partnerships between business societies in Dubai and India in all sectors of common concern.

The rooms stated in a statement yesterday, that the delegation’s visit comes in light of the increasing attractiveness of Dubai to Indian investors and businessmen, as Indian companies continued to lead to the list of new non -Emirati companies joining to the Dubai Chamber of Commerce membership during the first half of the year 2025, with 9038 new companies and 14.9% compared to the number of Indian companies that joined the membership during the same period last year.

The meeting witnessed a review of opportunities and mechanisms for diversification of trade exchange between Dubai and India, in addition to the vital role of Dubai as a center for the expansion of Indian companies to new markets at the regional and global level.

The meeting also dealt with cooperation to organize a series of events in a number of Indian cities to enhance business relations.

The meeting was attended by the Director General of Dubai Chambers, Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah, and the President of the Indian Industries Union, Rajev Mimani, along with the members of the delegation, which included officials of Indian companies working in a variety of sectors.

Dubai Chambers concluded in April of this year a memorandum of understanding with the Federation of Indian Industries with the aim of strengthening bilateral trade and investment relations between Dubai and India and pushing the wheel of joint economic growth, as the memo formed a framework to improve the level of cooperation in several main areas, so that the Dubai Chambers support Indian companies in establishing their business and expanding their presence in the emirate by providing strategic services that accelerate investment mechanisms.
