The UAE continues to dazzle the world with giant tourism and entertainment projects

Abu Dhabi, September 27 / WAM / The tourism sector in the UAE continues to enhance its ability to attract tourists and visitors from different countries of the world, through the qualitative additions it witnesses annually at the level of luxury tourist facilities and exceptional entertainment destinations.
The current year witnessed the launch of a group of giant tourism and recreational projects in the various emirates of the country, with the aim of enhancing the attractiveness and competitiveness of the tourism sector at the global level, and increasing the volume of its contribution to the national economy.
The announcement of the development of the Disney Entertainment World project and resort in Yas Island in Abu Dhabi is the most prominent event in the UAE during the year 2025 at the level of the tourism and entertainment sector.
The company “Disney”, after about 10 years, chose the opening of its last destination in the world, Abu Dhabi, to be the seventh city to embrace the Disney world and resort.
Next to this edifice, Abu Dhabi is preparing to complete new tourism projects this year, as the construction of the cultural area in Saadiyat will be completed that will include the Zayed National Museum, the Natural History Museum, Abu Dhabi, the Digital Arts Museum “Tim Lab Phenomina Abu Dhabi”, and the Goguheim Abu Dhabi Museum.
Abu Dhabi is witnessing this year the opening of the first interactive butterfly reserve of the “Butterfly Park in Abu Dhabi”, which will include more than 10,000 butterfly, and will shine with fertile tropical landscapes inside environmental domes whose climate is controlled to mimic various ecosystems from all over the world.
In turn, the Emirate of Dubai announced the launch of the “Thuir Dubai” project, which includes a health resort and an interactive garden, and is the first of its kind in the Middle East and the longest in the world, and will be implemented in the Zabeel Park at an estimated cost of 2 billion dirhams, with the expectation of its completion by 2028.
The project brings together comfort, relaxation, entertainment, family fun, health services, and the natural environment, as it will extend over an area of 500 thousand square feet and reaches a height of 100 meters, with a capacity of 1.7 million visitors annually.
The project is characterized by areas for physiotherapy, various thermal basins, floors dedicated to luxury, and a restaurant with a Michelin star, in addition to three waterfalls with a height of 18 meters.
The Emirate of Dubai continues to work on a prominent group of tourism and entertainment projects, including the mountain walking path in the Musharraf National Park; The first and the longest of its kind in the heart of the emirate, which will include “Musharraf Hab”, one of the recreational initiatives that collects a bouquet of integrated entertainment services, along with the Hatta mountain bike track with a length of 86 km, with a capacity of 21 bikes, and 17 walking paths.
In the Emirate of Sharjah, the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shorouk) announced the project of the “Kalba Center for Rocking Art”, which is one of the largest and richest sites of rock inscriptions in the UAE and represents a window on the history of the region through its inscriptions and monuments.
Shurooq continues to work on the “Kalba Beach” project, which extends over an area of 700 meters, and includes 11 commercial units that include restaurants, cafes, kashka, chapel and an internal games area.
And “Shorouk” revealed the latest developments in the “Rahal” project, which is scheduled to be completed in the last quarter of this year, where paths of mountain walks were added with a length of 7.44 km, including a moderate path of 5 km in length that fits beginners and professionals, and another more declining with a length of 2.44 km, reaching one of the peaks of Kalba for adventure lovers.
In the emirate of Umm Al Quwain, he announced the launch of the “Dawn Town Umm Al Quwain” project on the coast of the emirate, which has an area of 25 million square feet, and includes a connected coast of 11 km, including 7 kilometers of natural beaches and parks.
Umm Al Quwain witnessed the opening of the “Lis Glamb” project, one of the latest and most prominent environmental tourism projects, located in the heart of Umm Al Quwain Reserve for Al -Qarram, which will provide a unique residence experience that mixes calm and luxury, supported by entertainment and service facilities that meet the aspirations of visitors.
The Department of Tourism and Antiquities in Umm Al -Quwain announced the inauguration of the second phase of the watercolor facade project, which is one of the most prominent development projects aimed at developing the tourism sector in the emirate, as it combines entertainment, shopping, sports, and culture elements.
As for the Emirate of Ras Al -Khaimah, it witnessed the announcement of the establishment of a new group of luxury hotels, and the NH Collection, Ras Al -Khaimah Island, which includes 156 rooms, and Vermun, Al -Marjan Island, “250 rooms”, and the Wellington Miwz coral “336 hotel apartments and resort and resort Forsizons Ras Al Khaimah in the Arab Port” 150 rooms “.
The emirate also witnessed the opening of the Rove Hotel Al -Marjan Island, a modern beach resort that reflects the elegance of the local commercial brand and its distinction in preparing its facilities to suit the disabled and enhances the attractiveness of the destination.
The “Wayne Al -Marjan Island” project is one of the most prominent tourism and entertainment projects expected in Ras Al Khaimah, which will include at the opening of more than 1500 rooms and suites, a wide area of swimming next to the beach that includes many different swimming pools, water features, special cabin huts, and tropical landscapes with an area of 3.6 hectares.
In Fujairah, the Mainor Hotel Group announced the signing of the launch agreement for the “Avani+ Fujairah” resort, scheduled for 2028.
The beach resort overlooks the eastern coast of the Emirate of Fujairah on the waters of the Gulf of Oman, and includes 232 rooms in a modern design, along with 16 wide villas, including between three and five bedrooms.
