"Abu Dhabi Arabic Language" Participates in the Riyadh International Book Fair

Abu Dhabi on October 1 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center participates in the Riyadh International Book Fair 2025, organized by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority, on the campus of Princess Noura Bint Abdul Rahman University, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, from 2 to 11 October, under the slogan “Riyadh Reads”, with the participation of more than 2000 publishing houses and a local and international agency, and more than 25 countries.

Through its participation in the event, the center seeks to attract libraries, agents, publishing houses and creative industries pioneers, and to explore new experiences that can be used and developed.

The center pays special attention to highlighting its pioneering initiatives and its major activities from the book exhibitions, to literary awards, in addition to highlighting its qualitative cultural projects, and the center displays about 590 titles from the issuance of “versions” projects, “Word”, and the series “Insights” for research and studies.

His participation is consistent with his ambitious strategic vision to support the Arabic language, and to perpetuate the presence of the UAE in international forums, to ensure the achievement of international cultural communication, and to enhance cooperation and close historical relations that bring together the UAE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and to devote to the important role led by culture in the continuation of dialogue, and rapprochement between peoples.

His Excellency Saeed Hamdan Al Tunaiji, Executive Director of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center, said, “The participation of the center in the exhibition for this year reflects its commitment to attend and interact with the cultural events that take place at the regional and international levels, and to introduce its projects and publications, which reflects its strategic goals, and its constant endeavor to enhance the position of the Arabic language, in line with the pivotal role played by the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, in strengthening the bridges of cultural convergence And civilization among all cultures. “

He added, “The exhibition is a great opportunity to confirm the existing cooperation with the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is in the preservation of the Arabic language, and to activate the participation of the two countries in mutual activities to achieve this goal, especially as it is considered one of the important cultural forums in the region. For more than four decades, he managed to attract the most prominent Arab and international publishing houses, and provides his visitors with a wide range of publications, accompanying activities, from dialogue programs, and evenings Poetry, concerts, and activities covering several areas.

The exhibition is a major cultural platform, which includes literature, publishing and translation makers from all over the world, with the aim of enhancing the publishing industry, supporting the translation movement, and affirming the role of the book in shaping human culture.
