Bahrain Stock Exchange records trading 12.5 million shares of 3 million dinars within a week

The amount of shares traded on the “Bahrain Stock Exchange” during this week amounted to 12 million and 577 thousand and 132 shares, with a total value of 3 million and 41 thousand and 888 Bahraini dinars, carried out by the mediators in favor of investors through 365 transactions.

Investors traded during this week 24 shareholders, the price of 8 companies has increased, while the price of the stocks of 8 companies decreased, and the rest of the companies retained their previous closure prices.

The first place in this week’s dealings took the money sector, as the value of its traded shares reached one million and 902 thousand and 810 Bahraini dinars, or 62.55 %of the total value of the traded shares, and in a quantity of 8 million and 386 thousand and 919 shares, which were implemented through 220 deals.

As for the second rank, it was the share of the luxury consumer commodity sector, as the value of its traded shares reached 576 thousand and 218 Bahraini dinars, or 18.94% of the total value of the shares traded on the stock exchange, and in a quantity of two million and 283 thousand and 202 shares, which was implemented through 22 deals.

At the level of companies, the GFH Financial Group came in the first place in terms of value, as the value of its shares amounted to one million and 21 thousand and 974 Bahraini dinars and at 33.60% of the value of the traded shares, and with a amount of 5 million and 689 thousand and 830 shares, which was implemented through 62 transactions.

In the second place, the National Hotel Company came at a value of 454 thousand and 928 Bahraini dinars, and 14.96% of the value of the traded shares, and in a quantity of one million and 977 thousand and 840 shares, which were implemented through 3 deals.

Returning to trading rates during this week through 5 working days, we find that the daily average of the value of the traded shares amounted to 608 thousand and 378 Bahraini dinars, while the daily average of the amount of shares traded was two million and 515 thousand and 426 shares, while the average number of deals during this week amounted to 73 deals.
