Abu Dhabi Customs and Altana American Technology Explore the next generation trade solutions in New York

New York, October 3/ WAM/ The Abu Dhabi Customs and the American Technology Company, a leader in the monitoring and analysis of supply supplies supported by artificial intelligence, signed a memorandum of cooperation yesterday, to explore and develop trade solutions from the next generation that contributes to enhancing the flexibility, security and sustainability of global supply chains, by taking advantage of the solutions supported by artificial intelligence.

The memorandum signing ceremony, His Excellency Ahmed Jassim Al -Zaabi, Head of the Department of Economic Development – Abu Dhabi, and His Excellency Amna bin Zaal Al -Muhairi, witnessed the Consul General of the UAE in New York, while His Excellency Rashid Lahaj Al -Mansouri, Director General of Abu Dhabi Customs, and Ivan Smith, CEO of Altana Technology Company, was signed as part of the activities of the Abu Dhabi Investment Forum – New York.

The two sides emphasized their commitment to exploring joint initiatives and innovative solutions that enhance Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading global trade center, and to support Altana in building reliable and comprehensive digital trade networks in the world.

Altana Technology platform allows reliable data sharing and providing advanced analyzes that help companies and governments to manage risk, enhance compliance, and support the flexibility and sustainability of supply chains.

His Excellency Rashid Lahej Al -Mansouri said that this cooperation comes in line with the strategy of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi aimed at strengthening its position as a leading global center in trade and logistical services, “stressing that adopting innovation and digital transformation in customs processes enhances competitiveness, reduces risks, and supports the smooth flow of trade in a more reliable and sustainable way.

For his part, Ivan Smith expressed his pride in partnership with the customs of Abu Dhabi in building reliable commercial networks backed by artificial intelligence, stressing that this cooperation constitutes an important step towards creating more flexible, transparent and sustainable supply chains in a way that reflects positively on economies and societies around the world.
