A new mechanism for paying the fees of students residing in public schools

The Ministry of Education has adopted a new mechanism for paying the tuition fees for resident students studying in government schools, who do not hold Emirati identity and do not have identification papers, as it did a new service to pay the fees electronically using the student number, via a dedicated link on its official website www.moe.gov.ae.
The Ministry confirmed in a circular received by government school departments recently, and the Emirates Today reviewed its content, that this step comes within the framework of developing services provided to students and parents, and simplifying procedures in a manner that ensures improving the quality of services and easy access to them.
She explained that the new tuition payment service takes place through nine sequence electronic steps, starting with entering the Ministry’s official website through the “Important Links” section, then choosing a service to pay the tuition fees in public schools.
The user then log in in the digital identity (UAE PASS) By entering the mobile phone number, and then choosing “payment for another person”, followed by specifying the payment method using the student number.
And she continued: «In the next step, the student number is inserted in the allocated field and to ensure the value of the amount due, before completing the payment process electronically with ease and safety. At the end of the process, the customer gets a detailed electronic receipt with fees paid in the name of the student, in addition to another copy sent directly to the phone number that was entered during the payment process.
The Ministry stressed the suspension of the reception of any payments through the banking deposit, with the exception of the amounts paid through charitable institutions only, explaining that it will not accept any personal banking deposit. Parents of students and dealers called for commitment to the use of the new electronic service through its official website, stressing that this service comes within the framework of the trend towards digital transformation and facilitating government services in a way that meets the aspirations of the educational community.
On the other hand, government school departments are evaluating the procedures for modern student departure, through a comprehensive and directed questionnaire for students and their parents, to measure their satisfaction with their procedures. This step comes within the efforts of schools aimed at developing a safe and organized educational environment and enhancing the quality of school life.
School departments in letters address students and parents, which “Emirates Today” informed them, said that the departure procedures currently approved are divided into three basic means: through school buses, or private cars, whether by the guardian or the driver, or by walking.
She warned that the option of walking requires written approval from the guardian, provided that the student is granted a special card that allows him to go out, to ensure the highest levels of safety and security. She explained that the questionnaire focuses on assessing the clarity of the new procedures, measuring the level of regulation during the time of departure, and the extent of these procedures to achieve safety standards and adhere to traffic laws, in addition to monitoring their suitability for the circumstances of the daily parents.
The questionnaire includes a set of detailed questions that focus on the consent of the guardian on the clarity of the instructions and the school continues on it, evaluating the level of organization during the departure process, and the extent of their feeling that these measures achieve the desired safety for students. The questionnaire also deals with the suitability of these arrangements for the circumstances of the parents, in addition to allowing them to determine the most prominent strengths in the new system, and to submit their proposals to improve the process in the future.
Schools stressed that this step comes within a clear vision that seeks to make the departure process more smooth and smooth, and to avoid any congestion or chaos that may harm the comfort and security of students. She also affirmed that the observations of the parents and their proposals that will be collected through this questionnaire will contribute directly and effectively to improving and developing procedures to serve the public interest.
She stressed her keenness to enhance partnership with parents, and work to build an integrated educational environment, in which the elements of security, safety and organization are available, and to achieve families’ ambitions in providing the best educational and psychological conditions for students.
