"Nature Protection Clubs"An environmental initiative to instill a culture of sustainability in Fujairah schools

Fujairah, October 3 / WAM / The Fujairah Environment Authority, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, launched the “Nature Protection Clubs” initiative from the headquarters of the Zayed Educational Complex in Al -Badia, coinciding with the “Year of Society” under the slogan “Hand in Hand”.
The initiative aims to instill the values of belonging and love the environment among school students and enhance their awareness of the importance of preserving natural resources and protecting them from irresponsible human practices.
Nature protection clubs include many educational and awareness activities such as environmental trips, afforestation campaigns for local species, wildlife monitoring and interactive programs that link students to nature directly.
Asilah Abdullah Al -Mualla, Director of the Fujairah Environment Authority, confirmed that the initiative represents a turning point in integrating students with environmental work, as it started from the “National Wadi National Reserve” and will gradually expand to cover all regions of the emirate.
Al -Mualla pointed out that the nature protection clubs are not just a school activity but rather a school of life that contributes to preparing a conscious generation capable of protecting the environment through a distinctive scientific content provided in cooperation with a group of environmental experts and biological diversity.
She emphasized that protecting nature is a societal responsibility that starts from the individual and expands to include the entire society and instilling this culture in the hearts of generations is the basis for a sustainable future.
