The poet of the million concludes the 100th stage in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi, October 4 / WAM / The Poet of the Million program concluded in its twelfth season, organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, the 100th stage, which lasted for 3 days, during which the poets fought editorial and oral tests, in preparation for choosing the list of 48 poets who will move to direct episodes.
The tests of the hundred list included three stages, which started with the written test, and then the poets moved in groups to watch movies through an external cinema, in which each group was devoted to a specific topic among the topics, environment, family relations, volunteering, heritage, customs, tradition The imbalance in it, and another house for its trains on the same weight and rhyme.
Dr. Sultan Al -Amimi, a member of the jury in the poet of the Million Program, said, “In every season the 100 tests prove that it is a articulated stage in the competition for the title, and that it is a very important measure to stand at the level of the poets of the season,” said Dr. Sultan Al -Amimi, a member of the jury in the poet of the Million Program.
He added, “The tests of this season witnessed a change in some criteria, including the standard of improvisation in front of the jury.”
He explained that the failure of some poets in some test topics does not mean that they leave the competition to reach the list of 48, as there is a cumulative rate for each poet that includes the total of his degrees in various forms of tests.
Poets and poets from 13 countries, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, Oman, Iraq, the Emirates, Yemen, Syria, Tunisia, Qatar, Egypt, the United Kingdom, and Sudan, were chosen among the five rounds that were held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Kuwait, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Sultanate of Oman, and the United Arab Emirates, which contributed to the formation of the hundred list.
Each of the five rounds of this season left its impact on the list of 100, as it included new faces in the poetic scene, in addition to poets who participated in the previous seasons and reached the list of 100.
After the hundred list, the 48 poets are chosen based on the degrees achieved by each poet, so that these poets will compete for the title of the poet of the million and carry the Bairaq, in addition to other prizes, in front of the jury in the stages and direct episodes on the air from the Beach Beach Theater.
During the previous 11 seasons, the number of countries whose poets reached direct episodes at the Al -Raha Beach Theater of twenty Arab countries and non -Arab countries.
The “Poet of the Million” program continues to broadcast the documentary episodes of interviews of the jury of the poets applying for the twelfth season, every Tuesday at nine o’clock in the evening Emirates time, via the Abu Dhabi Bennkouna channels, provided that the list of the tests of the 100th list will be shown within the fifth documentary episode, on October 21.
