Cooperation between Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities and King Salman International Complex

Riyadh, October 7/ WAM/ Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities announced today, the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the King Salman International Complex for the Arabic language, on the sidelines of the fourth annual international conference of the complex, held in Riyadh under the title: “The Lexical Industry in the World: Experiences, efforts, and prospects.”
The signing was attended by His Excellency Matar Salem Ali Maran Al Dhaheri, State Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, while His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri, Director of the University, and Professor Dr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al -Washmi, Secretary -General of the Synod.
The Memorandum of Understanding aims to enhance cooperation between the two sides in the field of Arabic language service through scientific and academic projects and joint initiatives that support research and publishing, and expanded the scope of benefiting from the educational and technical resources of both sides, in a way that enhances the presence of the Arabic language in academic environments.
The memorandum includes provisions for cooperation in conducting and publishing studies and research, exchanging publications, books and periodicals, creating a unified index for scientific sources, developing blogs and dictionaries, supporting digital transformation and e -learning initiatives, activating training programs and joint academic events, and providing linguistic consultations in areas of common concern.
His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al -Dhaheri said that the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with the King Salman International Complex for the Arabic Language represents an important station in the march of Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities, as it reflects its keenness to expand the circle of institutional cooperation with the oldest specialized scientific centers in the Arabic language.
He added that this partnership is a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences, develop joint research projects, benefit from the pioneering efforts of the complex in the lexical industry, benefit from artificial intelligence, and activate academic initiatives aimed at enhancing the presence of the Arabic language globally.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al -Washmi said that the Memorandum of Understanding with Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities opens new horizons for integration in the areas of linguistic, technical and educational research, and establishes a stage of joint work that links institutional experiences, and expands the circle of international cooperation adopted by the complex in its strategic plans.
