Al -Darai appreciates the efforts of the Indonesian ambassador to enhance relations between the two countries in religious affairs
Abu Dhabi, October 7/ WAM/ His Excellency Dr. Omar Habtoor Al -Darai, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, received at the authority’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi, His Excellency Husayn Baqis, the ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia, who visited the authority on the occasion of the end of his work period in the state.
Dr. Al -Darai expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Indonesian Ambassador for his distinguished efforts in developing and strengthening relations between the two countries leadership and people, which resulted in development and progress in various fields, including religious affairs, praising his cooperation with the authority throughout his period of work and his active contribution to advancing the joint work process between the two countries to establish tolerant human values and spread peace, tolerance and coexistence through the exchange of religious experiences and knowledge, He wished him success in his practical career.
For his part, His Excellency Bakis expressed his appreciation to the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, praising its role in enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the field of Islamic affairs and its distinguished initiatives, including holding training courses for Indonesian imams in Abu Dhabi and qualifying them to perform their message in a civilized manner.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Ahmed Rashid Al -Neyadi, Director General of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, and a number of officials in it.
