Almost all the sector’s residents were displaced

UNRWA confirmed today that “it is time to lift the siege on the Gaza Strip and allow aid to flow under the supervision of the United Nations.”
And “UNRWA”, in a statement, said that “two years over the long Gaza war, in which more than 66,100 people were killed,” stressing that it is time to cease fire and release Palestinian hostages and detainees.
The statement added that “almost all residents of the Gaza Strip were displaced, while about 80% of the buildings were destroyed, and more than 370 agency employees were killed in the occupied territories.”
Two years passed the war in the Gaza Strip, when Hamas announced the launch of the “Flood of Al -Aqsa” operation, on October 7, 2023, and days later, Israel responded with an operation that Israel called the “Iron Sword”.
Since October 7, 2023, until now, the war on Gaza has killed more than 67,000 Palestinians, in addition to more than 169,000 injured, according to data of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
