The Omani Foreign Minister congratulates his counterpart Abdul Ati on the election of Al-Anani as Director-General of UNESCO
Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, expressed, during a telephone call with Dr. Badr Abdel Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Sultanate of Oman’s sincere congratulations to Egypt on the occasion of the election of Dr. Khaled Al Anani. Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization “UNESCO” As the first Arab to hold this high international position, he stressed what this victory reflects of the prestigious scientific and cultural status of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and its pioneering role in supporting dialogue and peace and promoting the values of tolerance and understanding among peoples.
For his part, the Egyptian Foreign Minister expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the Sultanate of Oman for its support for the candidate. Al-Masry, praising its honorable positions and permanent support for Egypt in various regional and international forums, stressing the long-standing and strength of the fraternal relations that bring together the two brotherly countries.
