Indonesia .. the rise of the death toll from the collapse of a school to 61 people

On Tuesday, rescue teams in Indonesia ended the search process, which lasted for the victims under the ruins of a four -storey building in an Islamic internal school, after confirmed 61 people, in one of the worst disasters of buildings collapse in Indonesia in recent years.

The National Disaster Management Agency said that heavy machines completed the last stage of the removal of debris at Al -Khuzini Islamic Interior School in the Sidwaro area in Eastern Java this morning.

“The debris was removed and 61 victims were found,” said the deputy director of the agency to deal with emergency, Body Iraan, to end the rescue efforts that started after the building collapsed during the concrete pouring process on September 29.

The collapse of the building led to the blockade of dozens of students, most of them adolescents, inside a prayer hall that was recently built, and was already used despite being under construction.
