The conclusion of the fifth edition of the UAE Martial Arts Championship in Al Ain

Yesterday, the competitions of the fifth edition of the UAE National Mixed Martial Arts Championship, organized by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts Federation, concluded over two days, in the gymnasium at the UAE University in Al Ain, with the participation of players in the youth categories (16-17 years) and adults (18 years and above), amid high technical levels and strong competitions.

The closing day witnessed a distinguished performance from the players of both categories, embodying high physical and technical readiness, tactical discipline, and the ability to manage fights under pressure.

The confrontations were at advanced levels that reflected the accumulated experience of the players and the systematic work carried out by the clubs in preparing them for local and international participation, which added a strong competitive character to the tournament’s proceedings.

Mubarak Saleh Al Menhali, Director of the Technical Department at the UAE Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts Federation, said: “This edition was distinguished by a high level of competition, especially in the fights of the youth and adult categories, where the players showed clear technical maturity in managing the rhythm of the fights and dealing with their various stages.”

He stressed that “the performance presented by the players reflects the soundness of the work system in the clubs and academies, whether in terms of developing physical readiness or enhancing tactical awareness.”
