The Head of State arrives at the Presidential Palace in Nicosia, accompanied by the Cypriot President

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, arrived at the presidential palace in the capital, Nicosia, accompanied by the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Restoulides.

Upon his arrival at the palace, an official reception ceremony was held for His Highness, where the national anthem of the UAE and Cyprus was played, and His Highness reviewed a group of honor guards lined up to greet His Highness.

During the ceremony, His Highness also laid a wreath on the memorial of Makarios III, the founding president of the Republic of Cyprus.

His Highness shook hands with his recipients, including ministers and senior officials in Cyprus. The Cypriot President also shook hands with the delegation accompanying His Highness the Head of State, which includes Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the Head of State, and a number of ministers and senior state officials.
