Today’s weather.. The General Meteorological Authority revealed in a statement the weather condition today, Thursday, October 9, 2025, in addition to the weather phenomena and temperatures expected in the cities and governorates of Egypt.
Today’s weather
Meteorology indicated that the weather today will be hot during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northern coasts, hot in South Sinai and North Upper Egypt, very hot in South Upper Egypt, while moderate weather prevails at night in most areas.
Expected weather phenomena and chances of rainfall
Meteorology indicated that there are chances of light to moderate rain, which may be heavy at times in areas of the northwestern coasts and northern Lower Egypt, and light to moderate in areas of the northeastern coasts. Light rain may extend to areas of Greater Cairo, southern Lower Egypt, and the canal cities at intermittent intervals.
Wind activity
Meteorologists expected wind activity on areas of the northern coast and Lower Egypt.
Maritime navigation
– The Mediterranean Sea: Moderate to turbulent, with waves rising from two to three metres, and the direction of the surface winds is northwesterly.
– The Red Sea: It will be moderate, with waves rising from one and a half to two metres, and the direction of the surface winds is northwesterly.
