Palestine delegate to the United Nations: The Sharm El-Sheikh agreement regarding ending the war in Gaza was agreed upon by everyone

Ambassador Riyad Mansour, the Permanent Representative of Palestine to the United Nations, confirmed that the Sharm El-Sheikh Agreement regarding ending the war in Gaza was agreed upon by everyone, indicating that President Mahmoud Abbas and all components of Palestinian society greatly value and appreciate the pioneering and great Egyptian role.
Ambassador Mansour said – in a telephone interview with the Cairo News Channel – “What is happening now in Sharm El-Sheikh It is decisive in achieving an end to the aggression against the people of Gaza, a ceasefire, arranging the exchange of detainees with Palestinian prisoners and detainees, introducing humanitarian aid in large quantities according to the needs of the people of the Strip, not displacing or annexing any part of the land of the State of Palestine, and holding a conference for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip with Egypt at the heart of all of that.”
He added that Egypt plays an important role with the Arab Islamic Committee, and therefore we highly appreciate and value the distinguished Egyptian efforts in supporting And supporting the Palestinian national cause.
He pointed out that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s invitation to US President Donald Trump to come to Egypt and sign the Gaza Agreement is an important step in the right direction and can be built upon to continue efforts to stop the aggression first and respond to the call of our people in Gaza and bring in all aid to those who are most in need of it.
Ambassador Mansour appreciated the unified Arab position on demands that have become the same. The demands of the whole world are a ceasefire and aggression against the Gaza Strip, the introduction of humanitarian aid, and no forced displacement, pointing out that the world, including the United Nations institutions and the Secretary-General, should unite on these goals to reach this agreement that was announced in Sharm El-Sheikh yesterday, in which all efforts must be combined and continued in order to fully implement it.
He explained that the Arab position, its unity, cohesion, and strength played an important role in convincing the American president to undertake this. The initiative came about through the efforts of everyone and thanks to the steadfastness of the Palestinian people on their land.
Regarding the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, Ambassador Mansour said, “We have an Arab-Islamic plan approved by Europe, but this plan requires material aid and huge funding to begin implementation, and we hope that we will succeed together during the Cairo Reconstruction Conference in providing all the requirements to begin this reconstruction plan.” “Reconstruction.”
