UNIFIL calls for a halt to work "Interference and intimidation" From the occupying army

The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) reported the continued military presence of the Israeli occupation army and its activities in the mission’s areas of operations.

UNIFIL indicated the firing of heavy machine guns towards the north near Sarda, and the use of a green laser towards mission personnel, in addition to a previous incident with a rifle near Marwahin.

The mission called for Putting an end to these actions, it also confirmed its continued support for the Lebanese army through military exercises, including a ship landing exercise and combat engineering activities.

An unlicensed ammunition depot was also discovered in the eastern sector and the Lebanese army was informed of this.
