US stocks closed sharply lower

US stock indices on Wall Street closed today in sharp decline.

 

 

The Standard & Poor’s 500 index fell by (182.34) points, or (2.71%), to reach the level of (6552.77) points, while the (Nasdaq) composite index fell by (2.71%). (3.56%), equivalent to (820.20) points, to close at (22207.28) points.

 

 

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by (873.58) points, or (1.88%), to end its trading at (45480.04). a point.
