Witkoff visits a military base in the Gaza Strip to ensure the withdrawal of the occupation army from it

The US Special Envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, and the Commander of the US Central Command, Admiral Brad Cooper, visited a military base for the Israeli occupation army inside the Gaza Strip, today, Saturday, with the aim of ensuring the completion of the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation forces according to the lines agreed upon in the ceasefire agreement.

A Fox correspondent said News" Jennifer Griffin – in a post on the “X” platform – “The American envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, accompanied by the Commander of Central Command, Admiral Brad Cooper, visited the Israeli occupation forces inside a base in Gaza to confirm that the agreed-upon withdrawal had been completed.”

 

Griffin published a photo of the visit, noting that Witkopf and Cooper returned later. To Israel.

 

Witkoff had announced, in a previous post yesterday, that the US Central Command had confirmed that the Israeli occupation army had completed its withdrawal from specific areas in the Gaza Strip in accordance with the first phase of the ceasefire agreement, while this visit came at a time when the countdown to the 72-hour period granted to the Hamas movement had begun. To complete the release of the remaining Israeli prisoners detained in the Gaza Strip, in accordance with the agreement brokered by the United States, Qatar and Egypt to end the war in the Gaza Strip.
