With a magnitude of 6.. a new earthquake strikes off the coast of the southern Philippines


Hit A new earthquakeof magnitude 6 on Saturday evening off The southern coast of the Philippines, according to what the American Institute of Geophysics reported, after two earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.4 and 6.7 on Friday.

The institute said that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 59 kilometers, about ten kilometers from the city of Caguite in the province of Surigao del Sur.

The Philippine Institute previously announced To monitor earthquakes and volcanoes, about (824) aftershocks were recorded within (24) hours.

The director of the institute, Teresito Paculcol, explained that the strongest recorded a strength of (5.8) degrees.
