Palestinian medical sources: The health and humanitarian conditions in Gaza require an emergency response
Medical sources in the Gaza Strip confirmed that the health and humanitarian conditions in the Strip require an emergency response to bring in the necessary medical supplies.
The sources explained, according to what the Palestinian News Agency “Wafa” reported, that thousands of sick and wounded are in urgent need of qualified places to provide health care. Warning of the worsening health conditions due to the cessation of specialized and diagnostic services in the Gaza Strip, and its repercussions on performing complex surgical interventions.
She stressed that strengthening the remaining operating hospitals in the Gaza Strip is a top priority that cannot wait.
In a related context, the Israeli occupation forces have continued, since the early hours of Sunday morning, to storm the village of Burqa, northwest of Nablus in the West Bank.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces, with military reinforcements, stormed the village at dawn, and began raiding and searching homes, without any arrests or injuries being reported.
