"Emirates Health" It wins nine awards from the Arab Hospital Federation

Dubai, 12 October / WAM / The Emirates Health Services Corporation achieved an exceptional achievement by winning nine awards during the ceremony of the sixth edition of the Golden Initiative Certificate Awards, “Star of Excellence in Patient Experience”, which is organized by the Arab Hospitals Federation in cooperation with the American “Brill” Institute, which specializes in promoting the culture of patient experience, and which was held in Dubai under the patronage and presence of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.
This honor comes in recognition of the institution’s firm commitment to providing human-centered health care, and its pioneering role in building an innovative model of health care in general.
His Excellency Dr. Issam Al Zarouni, Acting Executive Director of the Medical Services Sector at the Emirates Health Services Corporation, confirmed that this achievement consolidates the organization’s position at the forefront of the regional health scene, noting that this victory reflects the organization’s keenness to improve patient experience, and embodies its commitment to the UAE government’s charter for future services, especially in the “People First” clause, which places the needs and aspirations of individuals at the heart of the design of government services.
Six hospitals affiliated with the Foundation were distinguished by presenting qualitative projects that won nine awards in various categories. Fujairah Hospital won the silver award in the innovation and technology category, while Al Qassimi Hospital in Sharjah won three awards: the gold award in the continuity of care and transformation management category, the silver award in the patient-centered care and community engagement category, and the gold award in the safety category. And quality of care.
Kuwait Hospital in Dubai and Saqr Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah each won the Gold Award in the Patient-Centered Care and Community Participation category, while Kalba Hospital in Sharjah won the Silver Award in the same category, while Masafi Hospital in Fujairah won two silver awards in the Employee and Caregiver Participation and Development category, and the Patient-Centered Care and Community Participation category.
This win strengthens the UAE’s position as a leading healthcare destination at the regional and global levels.
