Yates’ victory came a week after he won the Copa Agostoni title, confirming his high readiness at the end of the season, as he won the Italian race, which extended for 170 kilometers, in a distinguished climb towards the summit of Santuario di Europa, thanks to a tight collective strategy from the Emirati team, which combined the experience of the stars and the ambition of the emerging talents.
At the most important stations of the race, the contributions of riders Enea Sambinello, Mateo Pablo Ramirez, and Adria Pericas were prominent, as the trio formed the foundation of the tactical performance that paved the way for Yates’ victory, amid strong competition from a number of prominent European riders.
Yates expressed his happiness at ending his season with a new victory, praising the team spirit and teamwork that helped him win the crown, stressing that the race represented an ideal conclusion to a long season that began last February.
