“Identity and Citizenship” launches the “IDA at Your Service” initiative during “GITEX Global”

Today, the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security launched the “Authority at Your Service” initiative, which includes a plan for easy payment for customers of service fees provided by the Authority upon payment, on the sidelines of its participation in the “GITEX Global 2025” exhibition, currently being held in Dubai.
The easy payment plan for the first phase of the initiative provides payment of the authority’s service fees in installments to customers who hold credit cards issued by 10 local banks across the country, in easy payments in accordance with the terms and conditions in force in the banks, with a profit rate of 0%. Customers can benefit from this initiative if the value of the fees is 500 dirhams or more, and with a payment period ranging between 3 and 12 months, depending on the customer’s desire. In accordance with the terms of the agreement signed between the Authority and the bank.
The cardholder can also contact directly the call center or the channels available at the bank to submit a request to participate in the easy payment plan, or through direct installments for Visa cardholders.
10 local banks are participating in the initiative, in addition to Visa International. These banks are First Abu Dhabi Bank, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Emirates Islamic Bank, Emirates NBD, Commercial Bank of Dubai, Sharjah Islamic Bank, Mashreq Bank, Ras Al Khaimah Bank, and Commercial International Bank. Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director General of the Authority, said that this initiative comes within the Authority’s plans to adopt innovative financial solutions that keep pace with technological developments and achieve the highest standards of efficiency and transparency, in addition to alleviating the financial burdens on customers and enabling them to legally reside in the country, which enhances the country’s competitiveness and leadership regionally and globally in the field of government services.
He stressed that the initiative aims to enable customers to manage their financial obligations more efficiently, and to achieve the objectives of the Year of Society 2025 initiative by providing easy financial solutions that contribute to alleviating the burdens on customers, enhancing the quality of life in society, consolidating happiness and positivity among customers, and raising their level of satisfaction, in addition to achieving the Authority’s strategic objectives and affirming its commitment to improving the quality of life of customers.
For his part, Major General Ahmed Mayouf Al Ameri, Acting Director General of Support Services at the Authority, said that by launching this initiative, the Authority establishes new standards in the efficiency of providing government services, and paves the way towards easier and more comfortable financial experiences, in a clear indication of a future in which government financial transactions become part of a system of solutions that support the well-being and aspirations of customers, instead of being a burden on them.
He explained that the Authority will provide customers with the option to pay its service fees in installments in a way that is consistent with their financial obligations, based on its vision that providing flexible and innovative payment solutions can contribute to improving their quality of life, and reflects the Authority’s commitment to facilitating every step in their service journey and making it more effective and simple.
