Israeli occupation forces attack journalists and foreign activists east of Tulkarm

Today, Friday, the Israeli occupation forces attacked a number of journalists and a delegation of foreign solidarity activists, while they were covering an event in support of the farmers of the Ramin Plain, east of Tulkarm, in the northern West Bank, in light of the presence of a settler residing in a colonial outpost established on the territory of the region.
Palestinian sources reported that an armed settler stormed the place with a four-wheel drive vehicle upon arrival. Foreign journalists and activists came to the area, approached their location alongside a number of farmers, then communicated with the occupation army via his mobile phone, which came immediately, detained everyone, checked their passports and identities, interrogated them in the field and subjected them to investigation.
She added: " The occupation forces detained farmer Akram Al-Salman and journalists Enas Abu Jabal – Which was later released – And Hamza Hamdan, who lost contact with him after the occupation forces took him in handcuffs, before it later became clear that he was severely beaten by the occupation soldiers, and thrown in the Sebastia area, where he was transferred to Rafidiya Hospital in Nablus to receive treatment, and his condition was described as moderate.
The Ramin Plain is exposed daily to repeated attacks by settlers, especially in the season Olive harvesting, the last of which was yesterday, when they attacked farmers, forced them to leave their lands, and stole olives and quantities of firewood.
