Launching of the UAE Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Forum

ABU DHABI, 18th October / WAM / The activities of the Emirates Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Forum were launched today under the slogan “Together for the Preparedness of a Nation,” organized by the Emirates National Program for Medical Preparedness and Response “Jahiya” and the Emirates Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Association, under the supervision of the Abu Dhabi Reserve and Volunteer Medical Team, and hosted by the National Academy for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
Representatives of the Arab Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Council, the Emirates Cardiac Resuscitation Council, the Egyptian Resuscitation Council, the Tunisian Resuscitation Council, the Bahraini Resuscitation Council, and the Saudi Resuscitation Council participated in the forum, along with members of the Emirati reserve and volunteer medical teams, with accreditation from the Emirates Heart Center, the National Training Foundation “Tadareb” and Medic Conferences.
The forum aims to provide a platform for exchanging experiences between experts and specialists, focus on innovation in the fields of cardiac and pulmonary resuscitation, improve and modernize methods of responding to critical emergency situations, and develop modern guidelines using virtual simulation technologies.
The forum witnessed the participation of more than 1,500 specialists from medical and emergency personnel and workers in government and private hospitals in the country, in addition to consultants from various specialties and members of cardiopulmonary resuscitation councils in a number of Arab countries, in a field and virtual presence.
During the forum’s activities, the National Program for Medical Readiness and Response in Cardiac Resuscitation “Inaash” was launched, aiming to train 50,000 first-line defense personnel, enhance the culture of cardiopulmonary resuscitation in society, and raise medical and societal readiness to respond to cases of cardiac arrest according to a unified approach approved locally and internationally. The application of the Emirates Cardiac Resuscitation Society’s medical guidelines, which is… An advanced educational platform that allows doctors and health practitioners to access the latest scientific recommendations and protocols approved in the country.
The forum witnessed the honoring of the Emirates “Jaheziya” programme, the Emirati reserve and volunteer medical teams, and the Emirates Mobile Heart Clinics, in recognition of their role in training thousands of first-line health workers in government and private hospitals, and managing and operating a series of mobile clinics that, in cooperation with the Department of Municipalities and Transport, contributed to providing community and awareness services to raise awareness of heart diseases and methods of prevention and treatment. Companies were also honored. And the participating and supporting entities in appreciation of their contributions to the success of the forum and the advancement of its scientific career.
Dr. Adel Al-Shammari Al-Ajmi, President of the Emirates Cardiac Resuscitation Association, CEO of the Zayed Giving Initiative and the Emirates National Program for Medical Preparedness and Response “Jahiya” and consultant in cardiac surgery and intensive care, confirmed that the Association is proud to serve the nation through its scientific and professional mission, noting that the successes achieved were the result of integrated efforts between the various participating parties, pointing out that the Association was nominated to chair the current session of the Arab Council. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, which includes specialized Arab associations and councils officially recognized by the ministries of community development in the Arab countries.
