Omar Khairat at the Nafoura Theater… and the conference concluded at the Arab Music Festival… Monday
The activities of the 33rd session of the Arab Music Festival and Conference, organized by the Ministry of Culture through the Egyptian Opera House, continue, under the chairmanship of Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam, where musician Omar Khairat will present a concert accompanied by the Cairo Opera Orchestra, led by Maestro Nair Nagy, at nine o’clock in the evening on Monday, October 20, 2025, at the Nafoura Theater in the courtyard of the Egyptian Opera House.

A selection of his famous compositions are played, including “The Conscience of Abla Hikmet, The Miser and Me, Take Care of Your Mind, A Question of Principle, The Night of Fatima’s Arrest, The Case of Uncle Ahmed, Saber, Uncle Saber, The Execution of a Dead Person, Arifa, Ghawaysh, The Second Meeting”, and others.
And on the research side, the activities of the accompanying scientific conference conclude. With two sessions on the small stage, the first at ten in the morning, and the topic of the horizons of music education in light of technological development was discussed, with the participation of researchers Dr. Nabil Al-Darrass, “Jordan” Rapporteurs: Professor Dr. Rami Haddad “Jordan”, Dr. Hayaf Yassin-Clara Bechealani “Lebanon”, Dr. Mehdi Kamoun “Tunisia”, Dr. Hisham Sharaf “Iraq/Jordan”, Dr. Laila Khalil Ali “Lebanon”.
The second session will be held at twelve. Half past noon, to continue discussing the same topic, with the participation of researchers Dr. Issam Al-Jowder "Bahrain" Rapporteur, Professor Dr. Wael Haddad “Jordan”, Dr. Ahmed Al-Qaisi “Iraq – Saudi Arabia” Professor Dr. Nidal Nuseirat “Jordan”, Dr. Ayat Bint Nasser Al-Mataniyeh “Sultanate of Oman” The sessions will be followed by the Scientific Committee presenting the conference recommendations.
