6 Palestinians were killed in occupation bombing on Al-Zawaida, Khan Yunis, and Al-Nuseirat

A number of Palestinians were martyred and others were injured, this evening, Sunday, after the occupation bombed the town of Al-Zawaida, the city of Khan Yunis, and the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

 

Palestinian sources reported – according to what was reported by the Palestinian news agency “Wafa&rdquo” At least two Palestinians were martyred, including a journalist, in a drone strike that targeted a tent in the Chalihat area southwest of the town of Al-Zawaida in the middle of the Gaza Strip. A Palestinian woman was also martyred and others were injured, most of them children, in a bombing by an occupation march on a displaced people’s tent near the city of Asdaa, north of the city of Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip.

A medical source at Al-Awda Hospital also reported that three citizens were martyred and a number of others were injured. Various injuries, after the occupation aircraft bombed a house in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

In this context, the Israeli occupation forces closed a number of villages and roads east of Ramallah, causing a major obstruction in the movement of citizens.. Local sources reported to “Wafa”: The occupation forces closed the main entrance to the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah, with a military checkpoint at the bridge, the western entrance, and prevented the passage of vehicles in both directions. They also closed the entrances to Deir Jarir and Yabroud with earth mounds and military barriers, forcing citizens to take rough alternative dirt roads to reach their homes.

The occupation forces also closed the road connecting a number of villages west of Ramallah, including the road "Griot" The link between Beitunia and the western villages.

These measures come in light of the escalation of attacks carried out by the colonialists in the vicinity of Palestinian communities, especially during the olive harvest season, as the villages east of Ramallah have witnessed for days a widespread campaign of restrictions that included persecuting farmers and preventing them from reaching their lands near the settlements.
