Pre-scheduled activities: American and Canadian military aircraft will arrive in Greenland

North American Aerospace Defense Command announced "NORAD" Military planes will arrive at Greenland to participate in long-planned activities, amid tension over the president’s efforts to Donald Trump to take control of the island belonging to Denmark.

The joint US-Canadian command said: "This activity was coordinated with the Kingdom of Denmark, and all forces operate under the necessary diplomatic authorizations. The Government of Greenland has also been informed of the planned activities."

The statement did not specify the nature of the activity, but indicated that its goal was to enhance… "Defense cooperation between the United States and Canada, in addition to the Kingdom of Denmark"
