Al-Mulla is runner-up in the second round of the World Jetski Championship in Italy

Rome, October 20 / WAM / Emirati champion Rashid Al Mulla achieved a new achievement for the Abu Dhabi Jet Ski Team, affiliated with the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, after finishing runner-up yesterday evening in the second round of the World Jet Ski Championship, which was held in the Italian city of Olbia, confirming the UAE’s supremacy in one of the strongest world championships in this sport.

Al Mulla came in second place after a strong competition in the stunts until the last meters with the Italian leader Roberto Mariani, adding to his score 87 points in the overall championship standings, ranking second globally behind Mariani, who achieved 97 points. Thus, Al Mulla keeps the Abu Dhabi team’s hopes strong in competing for the title of world champion during the upcoming rounds.
The Abu Dhabi team presented an outstanding performance in the tournament, during which its star shone by displaying high technical levels and great skill in exhibition movements, which strengthened the team’s presence as one of the most important competitors on the global stage of jet skis.
Thani Al Qamzi, Director of the Abu Dhabi Team at the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, confirmed that this result reflects the exceptional performance of the UAE champions, noting that Rashid Al Mulla gave a distinguished performance through which he proved his position as one of the most prominent stars of this sport in the world, expressing pride in what he achieved in the Italian tour, which represents an important step towards achieving the world title.
He added that the great support of Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, had a great impact on the continued successes and raising the UAE flag in various international forums, pointing out that the team will continue to work hard until the end of the season to compete for the title of World Champion 2025.
