The Egyptian cycling team arrives in Chile to participate in the World Track Championships

The delegation of the Egyptian cycling team arrived in the State of Chile in preparation for competing in the World Track Championships, which will start from the 22nd to the 26th of this October with the participation of more than 70 countries from various continents of the world.

The delegation was received upon its arrival in the Chilean capital, Santiago, by Ambassador Maher Al-Mahdi, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Chile, who was keen to welcome the Egyptian champions and follow up on all arrival procedures. Emphasizing the embassy’s full support for the delegation during the tournament period.

The Egyptian Cycling Federation, headed by Captain Ayman Ali Hassan, expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Ambassador and members of the Egyptian Embassy for the warm reception, generous hospitality and continued support for the national delegation.

The Egyptian national team is represented in the World Championship by:

Ibtisam Zayed – Shahad Saeed – Mahmoud Bakr – Mahmoud Sobhi

Under the leadership of technical director Mohamed Ibrahim and mechanical technician Sherif Abdel Halim, while the mission is headed by Colonel Ihab Sabry, a member of the board of directors of the Egyptian Cycling Federation.
