The Issa bin Salman Educational Charitable Endowment discusses ways of cooperation with the National University

Mishael Al-Qatami, Acting Secretary-General of the Issa bin Salman Educational Charitable Endowment and the Director of the Student Affairs and Educational Institutions Department of the Endowment, along with a number of representatives of the Endowment, visited Al Ahlia University, as part of the Endowment’s ongoing efforts to strengthen national academic partnerships and support young Bahraini competencies in their educational career.

During the visit, Al-Qatami stressed the Endowment’s keenness to consolidate cooperation with the most prestigious academic institutions in the Kingdom in a way that contributes to providing quality educational opportunities for Bahraini youth, noting that cooperation with the National University reflects the Endowment’s commitment to empowering distinguished students and supporting them to achieve their future aspirations.

For her part, Dr. Thaera Muhammad Al-Shirawi, Assistant to the President for Media and Public Relations at Ahlia University, welcomed the visit of the endowment representatives, stressing that Ahlia University attaches great importance to building strategic partnerships with leading national institutions that contribute to the development of higher education, praising the message of the Isa bin Salman Educational Charitable Endowment in supporting education as one of the most important pillars of sustainable development.

The meeting also discussed ways to enhance cooperation in developing scholarship programs, exchanging academic experiences, and organizing joint initiatives that contribute to raising students’ readiness for the labor market, in addition to enabling them to acquire leadership and cognitive skills that support their future career.

The visit concluded with an interactive session with a number of students on scholarship from the Issa bin Salman Educational Charitable Endowment, during which they expressed their pride in studying at the National University, appreciating the support provided by the Endowment in creating an educational environment that provides them with opportunities for excellence, innovation, and active participation in building their professional futures.
