"UNRWA": Israel carries out destruction operations in the northern West Bank and forces Palestinians into forced displacement
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees, UNRWA, announced that Israel is carrying out destruction operations in the northern West Bank and forcing Palestinians to forcibly move from their areas.
UNRWA said in a statement, today, Wednesday, that three refugee camps are in the areas of Jenin. Tulkarm and Nur Shams have been evacuated, and their residents have been prevented from returning to them.
She noted that settler violence and the expansion of Israeli settlements led to the forced displacement of Palestinians from their lands, warning that these practices pave the way for annexation operations.
She added that Israeli laws are against the agency. It resulted in the closure of United Nations schools inside the West Bank, and led to the expulsion of international employees from their work.
