Al Baraka Islamic Bank participates in “Tree Week” and distributes Razji seedlings to all its members

Based on its firm commitment to its national and societal responsibilities, Al Baraka Islamic Bank participated in the “Tree Week” activities through a specific initiative implemented by the bank’s social committee, which included distributing Razji seedlings to all bank members to plant in their home gardens, to enhance environmental awareness and encourage green practices.

This initiative comes in support of the national action plan to achieve carbon neutrality announced by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and in line with the initiative of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, to launch “Tree Week” in the third week of October every year.

This participation embodies Al Baraka Islamic Bank’s keenness to support national and community initiatives that enhance environmental sustainability in the Kingdom of Bahrain, based on its belief in the importance of protecting the environment and its effective role in achieving sustainable development.
