Humaid bin Rashid reviews the projects of the International Charitable Organization in Syria

Ajman, October 22nd, WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council, was briefed on the latest projects of the International Charitable Works Authority in the Syrian Arab Republic, during His Highness’s reception at the Ruler’s Court of a delegation from the Authority.
His Highness the Ruler of Ajman praised the efforts made by the International Charitable Organization, praising the ambitious plans it is implementing in Syria and in various countries around the world, which reflect the UAE’s commitment to helping brotherly and friendly peoples.
His Highness said: “The humanitarian projects undertaken by the Authority consolidate the values of giving and cooperation, and reflect the civilized face of the UAE in supporting humanitarian issues at the regional and international levels.”
During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the details of the projects in terms of the targeted locations, implementation timelines, and standards followed to ensure quality, stressing the importance of continuous coordination with the concerned authorities to ensure the success of these projects and achieve their goals.
His Highness directed to redouble efforts during the coming period, and to continue launching new initiatives to support those affected, and to enhance social and economic stability in the targeted areas, in a way that contributes to improving the lives of families and meeting their urgent needs.
During the meeting, His Highness was also briefed on the Authority’s efforts to support the affected Syrian areas, the visit of the Authority’s delegation to a number of Syrian governorates, and its keenness to implement an integrated set of humanitarian and charitable projects to meet the needs of the most vulnerable families.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, representative of His Highness the Ruler of Ajman for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the World Charity Authority, and His Excellency Dr. Khalid Abdul Wahab Al Khaja, Secretary General of the Authority.
Dr. Al Khaja explained that the Authority signed 22 agreements with local contractors, including building mosques, digging wells to provide drinking water, maintaining schools, and distributing food supplies, in addition to other humanitarian aid.
Dr. Al Khaja noted that these projects come within the framework of the Authority’s ongoing strategy to provide humanitarian and community support to our brothers, noting that the Authority places the quality of implementation and transparency at the top of its priorities to ensure that aid reaches its beneficiaries in an optimal manner.
