A call to alertness…an international warning against influencing the negotiations of the Tobacco Control Convention
The Secretariat of the Framework for tobacco, as a result of the increasing interference of the tobacco industry in the negotiations of the Tobacco Control Conference and Convention.
It called on member states to be vigilant and implement Article (3-5) of the Convention to protect health policies from commercial interests.

The Secretariat indicated that these interventions aim to weaken global efforts to combat Before the Geneva meetings next November.
