"Judo" He approves his list of players to participate in "Islamic Solidarity Course"

Abu Dhabi, October 24 / WAM / The Board of Directors of the Emirates Judo Federation, headed by His Excellency Mohammed bin Thaloub Al Darei, approved the participation of 5 male and female athletes in the Sixth Islamic Solidarity Games, which will be held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, during the period from 7 to 21 next November.
The Federation confirmed in a statement today that the judo competitions will be held on November 8 and 9, and the list that was selected includes Narmand Bayan (66 kg), Muhammad Yazbek (73 kg), Talal Shaveli and Omar Marouf (81 kg), Zafar Kosouf (100 kg), and Bashirat Kharudi (52 kg).
The Federation added that our national team is currently following its preparations program in two periods at its camp in Italy with the Italian teams until the date of travel to participate in the tournament in Riyadh.
For his part, His Excellency Mohammed bin Thaloub Al Darei praised the efforts of the National Olympic Committee and its interest in all sports, to enhance the development of UAE sports with the support and care of the wise leadership.
His Excellency reviewed with Dr. Nasser Al Tamimi, member of the National Olympic Committee and Secretary General of the Federation, all the arrangements for preparing the national team and enhancing the competitiveness of UAE judo.
