Organized by the Emirates, the National Championship for Arabian Horses concludes its activities in Benghazi

Benghazi, 24 October / WAM / The National Championship for Arabian Horses concluded at the Al-Watan Shooting and Equestrian Club in the city of Benghazi, organized by the Emirates Arabian Horse Association in cooperation with the National Authority for Equestrian, Camel and Heritage Sports in Libya, with wide participation from stalls and owners from various Libyan cities.
The closing ceremony was witnessed and participated in by Ali Abu Bakr Al-Enezi, Director General of the Al-Watan Shooting and Equestrian Club, and Mohammed Ahmed Al-Harbi, Director-General of the Emirates Arabian Horse Association, where the winners were crowned in a festive atmosphere full of pride and pride, emphasizing the status of the Arabian horse as a symbol of authenticity and heritage, and a bridge for cultural communication between the two brotherly peoples.
122 horses from 37 owners participated in the competitions, competing for beauty titles in various age categories for colts, fillies, mares and stallions.
An electronic judging system was implemented, allowing the results to be displayed directly on screens, which made the competitions highly transparent and professional.
The final results of the competitions, which were held recently over a period of 4 days, resulted in the filly “ES Hind”, belonging to Al Watan Club, winning the title of yearling fillies. She came in second and won the silver, “CB Landa” by Abdul Karim Ramadan, while she came in third and won the bronze, “Yafa Al Waha” by the Silvium Stud.
“Vega PV” by Al-Fayd Stud won the gold title in the filly category, while “CB Mimi” by Ayoub Al-Hamidi won the silver title, while “Jazi Al-Adwan” by Al-Fayd Stud won the bronze title.
“Wannell OX” by Al-Fayd Stud topped the mares’ category, won the gold title, came in second place, and her companion in the stud, “Shio Valeria,” won silver, while she came in third place and won bronze, “Kinant Al-Shorouk” by Al-Waha Stud.
“Shio Elios” by Al-Fayd Stud also topped the championship for yearling colts, winning the gold title, and his companion “Barq Al-Fayd” won the silver title, while “Milan J” by Amin Slim won the bronze title.
The horses of Al-Fayd Stud continued to shine, as “Bashir Al-Ezz” won the gold title for the colts category, came in second place and won the silver title, “CB Magnificent” for Al-Khair Stud, while he won the bronze title, “HA Al-Carino” for Al-Waha Stud.
“ES Zain” for Al Watan Club concluded the competition by winning the gold title for the stallion category, followed by “Hani Al Sheraa” for the Al Waha Stud in second place, while “Amir” Afras Othman came in third place and won the bronze title.
The event included an accompanying training program consisting of workshops and technical courses that dealt with the tasks of the Disciplinary Committee and the roles of judges and exhibitors, as part of the efforts of the Emirates Arabian Horse Association to exchange experiences and support the qualification of cadres in sisterly and friendly countries in accordance with the highest international standards approved in Arabian horse beauty championships. 21 trainees from Libyan cadres benefited from this course.
