The Palestinian factions issued a statement a short while ago about the results of their meetings in Cairo to discuss developments in the Palestinian situation.

The statement said, at the invitation of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and under the generous patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and in continuation of the efforts of the mediating brothers in Egypt, Qatar and Turkey to stop the war on Gaza and address its repercussions, the latest of which is the results of the “Sharm El-Sheikh Peace” summit. In October 2025, a number of Palestinian factions held a meeting in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, to discuss developments in the Palestinian issue and discuss the second phase of President Trump’s plan to stop the war on the Gaza Strip, within the framework of paving the way for holding a comprehensive national dialogue to protect the national project and restore national unity. The attendees began their meeting by greeting the masses of the Palestinian people in the homeland and the diaspora, especially our people in Gaza, and to the martyrs, prisoners and wounded, in appreciation of their steadfastness and sacrifices, and the necessity of completing all efforts in order to end the suffering and achieve a better future for our people and our national cause.

The attendees also renewed their appreciation for the Arab, Islamic and international efforts, including the efforts of President Trump regarding stopping the war. On Gaza. The Palestinian forces stressed that the current stage requires a unified national position and a national political vision based on unity of word and destiny and the rejection of all forms of annexation and displacement in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and Jerusalem.

They condemned the occupation parliament’s approval in preliminary reading of the law “Applying Israeli Sovereignty to the West Bank” Considering it a dangerous aggression against the Palestinian identity and existence, they appreciated President Trump’s decision to stop this move, and his promise not to repeat it. They also stressed that national unity is the decisive response to these policies, and the necessity of working to take all necessary steps to achieve this.

The participants agreed on the following:

1- Support and continue implementing the procedures of the ceasefire agreement, including the withdrawal of the occupation forces from the Gaza Strip, Completely lift the siege imposed on it, open all crossings, including the Rafah crossing, admit all humanitarian and health needs, and begin a comprehensive reconstruction process that will restore normal life to the Strip and end the suffering of citizens.

2- Handing over the administration of the Gaza Strip to a temporary Palestinian committee of the people of the Strip, composed of independent “technocrats,” which is responsible for managing life and basic services in cooperation with the brothers. Arab and international institutions, on the basis of transparency and national accountability, and establishing an international committee to supervise the financing and implementation of the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, with an emphasis on the unity of the Palestinian political system and the independent national decision.

3- Taking all necessary measures to maintain security and stability throughout the Gaza Strip, stressing the importance of issuing a UN resolution regarding the temporary UN forces that are to be formed to monitor the ceasefire. Fire.

4- Calling for an end to all forms of torture and violations against prisoners in occupation prisons, and the necessity of binding the occupation to the relevant international laws and conventions, stressing that the issue of prisoners will remain our top priority until we achieve their freedom.

5- Continue joint work to unify visions and positions to confront the challenges facing the Palestinian issue, including: This is the call to hold an urgent meeting for all Palestinian forces and factions to agree on a national strategy and activate the Palestine Liberation Organization, the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people, so that it includes the components of our Palestinian people and all their living forces.

The participants concluded their dialogue by affirming that time is blood, and the current moment is fateful, and their affirmation before the Palestinian people of making this meeting a real turning point towards national unity in defense of our people and their right to life. Dignity, freedom, and the preservation of the integrity of the Palestinian cause and the rights of future generations and their right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital, in a way that guarantees the right of return for Palestinian refugees.

The attendees also thanked the Arab Republic of Egypt, led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and the mediators for the efforts made to support and support the Palestinian cause.
