Ain Shams University organizes initiative activities "Empowerment…Together towards an inclusive future"
The Education and Student Sector at Ain Shams University, represented by the Service Center for Students with Disabilities and the General Administration of Youth Welfare, is organizing the activities of the “Empowerment… Together Towards a Comprehensive Future” initiative.
The initiative aims to spread the culture of inclusion and academic and community integration, and highlight the efforts of support centers in the areas of empowerment, equality, and equal opportunities, in addition to raising awareness of the importance of providing academic and social support to students of determination, ensuring that they have an inclusive educational environment that allows them to exploit their maximum potential. Professor Dr. confirmed Mohamed Diaa Zein Al-Abidin, President of Ain Shams University, said that the university has developed an integrated executive plan to support the presidential initiative “Empowerment” For people with disabilities, in implementation of the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, on the need to empower them and fully integrate them into society. He pointed out that the university has adopted a comprehensive vision that focuses on providing an inclusive educational and research environment that provides students with special needs equal opportunities in learning, innovation, and effective participation in university life..
The initiative witnesses the distinguished participation of a number of institutions and organizations specialized in the field of supporting and empowering students with determination, including Basira Foundation, Al Hassan Foundation, and Caritas Egypt, where specialized workshops and a number of interactive activities and events will be organized on campus for a number of students with determination and staff members. Teaching.
The initiative’s activities will begin on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at exactly one o’clock in the afternoon in front of the Saffron Palace on the university campus, and will continue for five consecutive days, during which the activities will vary between training workshops and dialogue sessions .
