Excluded Products
This regulation is concerned with setting the necessary conditions and standards for all types of honey produced and intended for human consumption. Direct.
The scope of application of the regulation includes all forms of honey, including the product packaged in large containers that is later repackaged in smaller containers intended for retail sale to consumers.
The updated regulation excluded some products from the scope of its application, as these conditions do not apply to honey intended for use in food manufacturing, known as honey. “Baker’s Honey.” The list also does not include honey products to which other food ingredients have been added, such as nuts of all kinds or spices and condiments.
